Typical Formulation:

  • Platinum Catalyst – 0.5-1 parts
  • Crosslinker – 1.5-3.5

Platinum Reduction based on Coating Speed

The graph below illustrates the relationship between platinum catalyst content and coating line speeds. By adopting our systems you can maintain line speeds of approximately 1,300 ft/min while reducing your platinum catalyst usage by approximately 20% – 40% without impacting cure. At line speeds of approximately 400 ft/min you can reduce your platinum catalyst usage by up to 80%.
