Iodine Waste Recycling Program

Turn Iodine Waste Into Value

Mitsui Plastics
Reclaim. Reprocess. Reuse.

What We Do

Mitsui Plastics is sourcing iodine waste streams from North America to support sustainable reuse and industry innovation.

Mitsui Plastics is launching a new initiative to purchase iodine-containing waste from qualified industrial sources. Our goal is to divert usable iodine compounds from disposal and reintroduce them into the supply chain through a trusted iodine recycling partner.

  • We accept iodine waste from contrast media, pharmaceuticals, etchants, catalysts and other waste streams.
  • Materials are evaluated for recyclability and regulatory compliance.
  • Waste is purified and reused within the iodine industry.
