TPX™ manufactured by Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. and distributed by Mitsui Plastics is a specialty polyolefin resin (Polymethylpentene, PMP) renowned for its unique combination of transparency, chemical & heat resistance, and exceptional releasability.  As the lowest density thermoplastic, TPX™ enables significant weight reduction in finished products, making it ideal for demanding applications across industries.

TPX™ offers glass-like clarity, a high melting point, outstanding chemical and steam resistance. Its surface tension is extremely low, providing superior peeling and release properties.
