e-dash Carbon Offset Partnership

Mitsui & Co., Ltd.’s wholly-owned subsidiary e-dash Co., Ltd. (e-dash), a Tokyo-based CO₂ emissions calculation platform provider, announced a new partnership with Patch Technologies Inc. Patch, a San Francisco-based carbon offset API developer. The two companies have jointly launched the first-ever carbon offset marketplace in Japan, “e-dash Carbon Offset”.

Through this partnership and the new marketplace, Japanese companies are now able to access voluntary credits that are transparent and of trusted quality, making carbon offset a viable option for companies taking initiative towards carbon neutrality.
